3 Dead

Horror, Suspense

Book Synopsis

“3 Dead” opens with a haunting prologue, introducing us to the tormented psyche of its protagonist, whose name we later learn is Nathan. The narrative plunges the reader into a whirlpool of abyssal darkness, revealing glimpses of Nathan’s disturbing memories through a series of vivid, unsettling flashbacks. These memories, including the horrific image of a woman with her throat slit and the cruelty of a younger Nathan towards animals, set the stage for a psychological thriller that explores the darkest corners of human nature.

As the story unfolds, Nathan finds himself waking up to the cold, judgmental gazes of interrogation officers. With a quick witted mind, Nathan negotiates to write his story in a journal compared to the traditional interrogation process, promising to include every gruesome detail in depth.

The plot in the first chapter starts off with childhood background, with Nathan portrayed as a rather troublesome kid, with near-absent parents. The story elaborates on the toll it took on his easily impacted mind and heart, showing the anger and resentment pent up from parental negligence.
